The Key to making money with any of these programs, is the three R's

Referrals,

Referrals,

and Referrals.

With just 5 referred friends in each level of your downline, the potential income can be HUGE. However, the vast majority of users of pay-to-surf programs have a very small number of active users in their downline. What use are 20 friends you have referred if only 1 of them is using the software? In fact, most people have a very small downline to begin with... how many do you have ?

That's where this section comes in. Here you will find useful tips and tools that will help you to gain referrals. And if you join one of the clubs listed on the Downline Builders Clubs page, then you can be assured that anyone added to your downline, is someone who has the same level of interest in earning money as you do...and they will be active in their surfing habits.

START WITH THE OBVIOUS

Start with the people you know...family and friends. They will at least be sympathetic to your cause. Every program you join will have sample e-mails that you can use to send to your family and friends, with your referral link built into the mail. And you can keep at them to use the viewbars.

But always remember...SPAMMING (send bulk e-mails to people you don't know without them having requested them) is frowned upon by all the major paid-to-surf companies...and will almost always result in your account with them being terminated...and the forfeiture of your downline and any monies earned.

EXPAND YOUR HORIZONS

Now it's time to start recruiting strangers. But don't let the fact that you don't know these people put you off. There are many ways you can get people you have never met to join your downline. What's more...you don't even have to go looking for them, all you have to do is get your presence out there on the net, and they will come looking for you. These will be people like you, people who are looking to earn money for doing what we all enjoy doing...surfing the net. They may already be using one or more viewbars, and are impressed with the way this system works...and looking for new leads to ways to earn potentially greater amounts of money. They are perhaps better than your family or friends, because they are already committed to the cause. :o)

To entice strangers ino the fold, you will want to try one or more of the following methods:

ADVERTISE YOURSELF

1. Subscribe to ezines.
2. Get a FREE web page, and submit your URL to the search engines.
3. Take out an online advertisement.

1.     There are many ezines(on-line magazines or newsletters) that you can subscribe to  (Search any of the major serch engines for listing of ezines). Most of these have "classifieds" sections where they allow you to place a small personal advertisement. Get an e-mail adress, an auto-responder, or join a mailing list company, and post your e-mail addy with the selected ezine(s) of your choice (Its best to subscribe to e-zines related to making money using the internet). When someone writes to you, you can then use their names to start or add to a mailing list of your own, sending them details of the paid-to-surf programs you belong to. If you use an auto-responder, this can even be done for you automatically. For an example of how an auto-responder works, send a blank e-mail (that would be like...NOW!) to: [email protected]

2.     There are just as many sites out there that will give you your own web page. I have listed a few in both the FREE STUFF and DOWNLINE BUILDER CLUBS pages. All you have to do is build your page listing all the programs you belong to, along with the referral links to each program for newcomers to sign up from...you can do this using the page builders available with most sites, or you can build your page offline using whatever web page creation program you have and upload it once it's complete. Then submit your page URL to the search engines.You can do this manually (a long, slow, tedious process...or download one of the many free search engine submission utilities available, which submit your site to dozens...hundreds...even thousands of search engines with just one click of your mouse.

3.     The third method costs money, but for just a few cents, you can take out an advertisement with one of the many advertising companies out there. Or for a few dollars...you can have a banner for your website designed and submitted to the many banner exchnage programs available. If you have a modicum of graphical talent, and a reasonable imaging program...you can design your own banner to be displayed on other sites.
